Tip to improve Windows 10 speed

I've updated my notebook (Core i7, 4 GB RAM) from Windows 7 to Windows 10 Home Edition. Each day it seemed to be slowed, until the moment I was giving up to use it.
When I was installing Linux in dual boot mode, and I was configuring GRUB to be able to choose the system after BIOS, I read that Windows 10 "just pretend" to shutdown, to say in a very simplest way. In the reality,it's does a kind of hibernation.

There is a way to disable this, disabling the option that they call "Fast Startup". Yes, fast startup makes your system boots faster and shutdown faster, but it seems to make the system heavy and slow.
Try to disable this option and check if you are going to notice a difference.

Type Power Options in Start Menu and enter in that.

Click on the Choose what the power buttons do link on the left side.

Click on the Change settings that are currently unavailable link at the top

Uncheck Turn on fast startup and Hibernate.

Restart the system.
I hope this improves your experience using Windows 10.
If this doesn't help, you can back to previously configuration.

If it helps you or if you have any suggestion, leave a comment.
